About Andy Harmer

Andy Harmer is the most recognised double of David Beckham worldwide. For nearly 9 years Andy Harmer has worked fulltime as the England and Real Madrid superstar's doppelganger. He has worked closely on projects with David himself on many occasions doubling for him on films and commercials such as Bend It Like Beckham, Goal, Pepsi, Adidas and Vodafone to mention a few.
He has also regularly appeared in the national press and in glossy magazines like Cosmopolitan, GQ, Heat, Now, OK and many more.

In 2004 Andy Harmer had his own documentary on Sky One called ‘Being David Beckham' which followed him to Japan where he caused pandemonium. It has taken Andy Harmer all over the world and has always been a sure hit with the press where ever he's been. As part of Andy Harmer's act he even has transfers of David's tattoo's paying attention to detail.

Andy Harmer won the televised 2004 "Doubles Look-alike" award along side Camilla Shadbolt, who has doubled for Victoria Beckham in Walkers commercials, baffled press in a Schweppes commercial and draws a crowd wherever she goes. Other terrestrial programmes they have appeared on include The Dame Edna Show, Double Take, The Salon, This Morning and GMTV.
